Organization Development services can be provided on an individual consulting basis or through instructive seminars, interactive workshops, or dynamic staff retreats. All programs are customized to meet specific client needs and goals!

Executive Outplacement Package:

The following service components of the Successful Transitions Executive Outplacement Package may be obtained separately or as part of a comprehensive outplacement service for individuals or groups.

  1. Career Assessment: Successful Transitions provides the two most widely used, standardized career assessment instruments available, the Strong Interest Inventory and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator in a  comprehensive assessment process which gives clients exceptional insight to effectively approach career change possibilities and career search.  It incorporates background review, administration, comprehensive self-assessment, instrument interpretation, professional/personal career applications, standardized and personalized interpretive materials.
  2. Market Research: Clients learn how to research career information through print, Internet and media resources in any U.S. job market using both print and electronic media.  Includes demonstration and hands-on computer training.
  3. Resume Development: Resume package includes career targeting, goal setting, review and critique of current resume (when applicable), transferable skills assessment, training in position-targeting resume development techniques, and collaborative resume development. Word processing, multiple copies of completed resume, electronic format and diskette for alternative format development are included.
  4. Action Planning: Clients learn job search skills to include developing formal and informal job market lead resources, networking, telephone techniques, interviewing, negotiation, organization and time management skills. Each client will develop a career search strategy based on personal work style including time/task goal setting and will receive a customized career transition workbook.

Follow-up Services: Most clients greatly benefit from on-going, weekly career search counseling sessions to stay on course, practice and refine above learned skills, maintain momentum and avoid depression. It has been determined that the average job search takes 1 month per each $10,000.00 in annual salary required by the job seeker. On-going services are available at an hourly rate.
